01Information We Collect
synqology collects health and biometric data from Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission, including: heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), VO2 max, step count, active energy, sleep analysis, and workout data. We also collect basic device information for app functionality and anonymous analytics data.
02How We Use Your Information
Your health data is used to: (a) calculate your Vitality Index score; (b) generate personalized health insights via synqIQ Chat; (c) track health experiments and trends over time; (d) compare your metrics against population norms. We do not sell your personal health data to third parties.
03Data Storage & Security
Health data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Data synced from HealthKit is processed on-device where possible. Cloud-stored data uses AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We implement access controls and regular security audits to protect your information.
04Third-Party Services
synqology integrates with: (a) Apple HealthKit — for biometric data access (governed by Apple's privacy policies); (b) AI services — for synqIQ Chat functionality (queries are processed without persistent storage of personal identifiers); (c) Analytics services — anonymous usage metrics to improve the App.
05Data Retention
Your health data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
06Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) restrict or object to processing; (e) data portability. synqology is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by other means. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
